When my husband and I and our young family purchased this little caravan park on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia 8 years ago, we had some big dreams and plans to build the park and make it into something special. Well with a lot of time, patience and hard work, we have managed to make our dreams become a reality. Our little caravan park was just awarded “The Best Caravan Park on the Yorke Peninsula” by winning the Tourist and Caravan Park category in the Yorke Peninsula Tourism Awards for 2014.

The park is now managed by our niece and nephew and it is great to keep the park in the family. We are all very proud of our little caravan park and we are passionate about tourism on the Yorke Peninsula. I think that is what keeps driving us to improve our services and facilities and improve customer experiences . Just in the last 12 months we have opened our own 9 hole putt putt golf course and built a brand new modern camp kitchen complete with free BBQ’s. This along with our constant upgrading of cabin accommodation, powered sites and amenities makes for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
