The Yorke Peninsula is well known for its abundant fresh seafood available to catch on our doorstep all year round, but it is our succulent Blue Swimmer Crab and our beautiful location, that keeps our visitors coming back, year after year. The Blue Swimmer crab can be caught with a baited drop net over the […]

Winter Escape

Many people think of the beach as just a summer holiday but it is also a fantastic winter destination! Port Vincent on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula is one of those most popular holiday destinations. This is of course understandable, because the sandy beaches are surrounded by vivid blue seas which will take your breath away […]

Here is our latest winter project we have started working on here at Port Vincent Caravan Park & Seaside Cabins. Internet Hotspot now available

Port Vincent Caravan Park & Seaside Cabins now has wireless internet access. As caravan park owners we have always been unsure as to whether we needed to provide internet access as we were under the impression that a lot of people had their own means to access the internet.  After a lot of research and […]

Gala Day 2012

It was another spectacular end to Port Vincent New Years Day Gala Day celebrations 2012 with an amazing display of fireworks over the bay. It was a lovely balmy night standing on the wharf and enjoying the atmosphere with a gentle sea breeze which was much welcomed after the heat of the day. It was […]

A Beach Wedding

We were very honoured to have a couple of our regular visitors to Port Vincent Caravan Park & Seaside Cabin choose our park to get married in today. This being New Years Eve 2011 and having perfect weather for the occasions helped to make a lovely setting on the beach front. The weather was warm […]

We were very happy with this for it was our first year […]

Reflections on the beach

I was walking on the back beach in Port Vincent this morning and was mesmerized by the water. There was not a breath of wind and the water was like a sheet glass. There were thunder clouds over Adelaide, which were reflecting in the still water and in the rock pools on low tide. There […]

Beachfront Sites

The quieter winter season here on the Yorke Peninsula means we can get some maintenance work done on the powered sites here at Port Vincent Caravan Park and Seaside Cabins. We have just hired a dingo for a couple a hours and leveled off some of the beachfront sites, and are going to lay some […]

Pet Friendly Accommodation

Port Vincent Caravan Park & Seaside Cabins have always been pet friendly all year round in our caravan park, but a few years ago we saw a need for people travelling with pets to be able to hire cabin accommodation. Because of health regulations we can not allow pets in all of the cabins, but we have set […]

The Camping Ground

The camping ground, showers and toilets are very clean, neat and tidy. It is a pleasure to stay here so close to the sea with the views. Hospitality was very good. I would definitely recommend this park to others. Not too crowded and peaceful. Thanks for a great stay, Ron & Cathy B.

Wonderful stay

Hi Mark and Sharon, We had a wonderful stay – and we all miss it – especially our son (age 6) who really misses his new-found friends he made at the park.  The cabin was really nice and our neighbours throughout the park were all wonderful.  You’ve done a great job.  Regards, Tracy
